Our security immersion training programs are taught on site at our Nashville, Tennessee campus and we can schedule training at your location anywhere in the world. The SAPS Mobile Training Team (MTT) is staffed with subject matter experts in protection, K9 services, special operations, EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal), law enforcement, and intelligence operations. SAPS instructors possess extensive operational experience and instructor qualifications in their respective skill sets.
Dignitary Security

Course Description: This program of instruction is a 5 day immersion course on Dignitary Protection Operations in the Mid-Level Threat Paradigm. This course is referred to as DIGSEC1.5 because it is a combination of our Hostile Environment curriculum and our Protective Strategies for Tour Security Professionals program. This is training for students focused on an executive/ dignitary protection oriented program that doesn’t skimp on the high threat and hostile environment information. This course is not easy. The training day will reflect an actual work day on a protection detail. There are very few breaks, a rapid training tempo and strenuous activity mixed with intense scenarios and informative lectures.
Syllabus: Principles of Protection - Counter Surveillance - Stalker Intervention - Advance Planning - IEDs and Explosion Prevention - K9s for the Executive Protection Paradigm - Hostile Environment Route Planning - Medical Considerations for the Protection Professional - Dealing with Dignitaries - Motorcade Operations - Protection Based Combatives - Pistol Fighting for the Protection Professional - Counter Assassination - Technical Surveillance Countermesures - Logistics & Travel Planning - Protection Mission Exercise
Prerequisite: Basic pistol training covering safety and engagement. Participant must possess general physical health and the ability to endure harsh outdoor conditions and mental and physical exertion. This course is not for the faint of heart. It is strenuous and taxing. You will receive very little sleep over the course of 5 days and you will be exposed to stressful situations that will push you to your limits.
Equipment List: Pistol with a minimum of 2 extra magazines 200 rounds of ammo. Ear & eye protection. Business casual clothing, Concealment garment (jacket, vest or coat). Concealment holster, magazine carrier and belt. A wristwatch. Laptop or mobile device. Boots, inclement weather gear, and backpack. Tactical flashlight. Headgear (Hat). Medical kit. We encourage all students to bring their respective carry gear, EDC and issued equipment. Please contact us if you have any questions on what to bring. Protective Marksman
Location: Nashville, TN. USA or your location. Worldwide.
Course Description: This program of instruction is a 3 Day Designated Marksman/ Protective Overwatch (DMPO) immersion course in the high threat paradigm. The training module consists of our Scoped Rifle Manipulation Level 1 course plus additional material covering field craft and operational tasks for protective overwatch duties. Students will engage targets from 50-600 yards and within realistic scenarios of fire for a protective overwatch mission. This course is not easy. The training day will reflect a Designated Protective Marksman’s actual work day on a protection detail. There are very few breaks, a rapid training tempo and strenuous activity mixed with intense scenarios and informative lectures.

Concealment garment, Holster, magazine carrier and belt, Scoped rifle or carbine with a minimum of 3 extra magazines 500 rnds of ammo. 7.62 NATO or 5.56 NATO is recommended for this course. Rifle sling. Bipod. Cleaning kit. Eye and ear protection. Appropriate load bearing equipment (plate carrier, mag carrier, tac vest, LBV, etc). Shooting mat. Pen, pencil and notebook. Boots, inclement weather gear, rucksack or backpack. Medical Kit. Hydration system is recommended. Tactical flashlight, headgear. Hostile Environment
HEKSESS 1

Course Description: This program of instruction is a 5 day immersion course on not only surviving, but winning in the Hostile Environment-High Threat paradigm. This course is not easy. The trainee will be exposed to rigorous scenarios that will expose them to the reality of being on the run in a high threat scenario, kidnapped and imprisoned. The training day will reflect an actual hostile environment and the concept of being on the run and in captivity. There are very few breaks, a rapid training tempo and strenuous activity mixed with intense scenarios and informative lectures.
